just dance

i made this bra for myself about 2 years ago now. i have a slight obsession with Lady Gaga and ever since i saw the bra she had on in her video to just dance, i've been determined to make myself one. even if it did take me a few years to actually get round to it. 

now i would never probably go out with the jacket open like that, it is just so you are able to 

see the bra. 

whenever i have seen a woman wearing a smart jacket with it showing slightly some of the bra i have always loved it and wished i was able to go somewhere as fancy to wear it. 

this can do. 

as i have shown the glimpse of it is much better than full on show...as we all know ladies its not about how much skin you can show, but to leave it to the imagination. 

these jeans have been in my heart for many many years from Bershka, i bought them in Paris so i could never get rid of them. they are extremely comfortable and fit just perfectly. with a slight flare to the bottom of them, these aren't going anywhere soon.

so this evening i am off to watch a film my friend is currently starring in, its always such a great feeling to see one of your friends succeed and do well.

Ripped

Considering the weather has been incredible over the past 2 months, today has been such a let down! 

I feel the cold more than probably most people, I put that down to the fact I have no meat on me! Very annoying! So when I dressed for today I thought I would be okay in this long sleeved top! 

Nope I was wrong I needed an extra jacket because I was shivering! I'm pathetic if you ask me! 

I've had this top for a few years and it's one of those tops that goes with everything, it's so comfortable and loose and can be smart or casual! 

The jeans are my most beloved, for as long as I can remember I have been desperate to find a pair of ripped jeans exactly like this! And Zara saves my life! 

The shoes, to die! So comfy and such an alternative to the jelly shoes, that will be no good during the autumn and winter seasons! So I am ever so excited to wear these throughout the next few months!

This dress

Yes! Again I have been absent from the game! I am probably the most useless person you can find! Although my reasoning is family! I would drop anything for my family in a time of need and I would assume you would do the same! 

Enough on that can we just all take a moment to appreciate the gorgeousness of this dress here! It is a creation by style stalker! I urge you all to take a look at their range it's fab-u-lous! 

I bought this dress for my close friends wedding last year! And I felt as that was a year ago I should pay tribute to the dress! Because I fancy myself a hippie I have no shoes on, I should really look for a different location than my house to shoot in?! 

I plan to make a conscious effort to take more pictures and upload! 

I have been working on a post to do with beauty! My favourite products that I love etc! So ill be posting that sometime soon!  

Also I begin my academic journey next month! I am yet again to be a student! And I'm so buzzed its a joke!

how loud is this dress? i love it. i think as i got older my dress length definitely got longer. and i find myself more inclined to wear dresses that sit past the knee, only really when i go out. i dont feel as comfortable to wear a short dress out, unless tights are involved. 

but i do also have a tendency to be quite simple with prints and patterns. so when i saw this i thought get it, lets just give it a go. mixing prints is always hard, but i feel the leopard print on the shoes are just the right amount to mix with the dress. how amazing are the shoes by the way?

back to basics

i am not a fan of shoes. thats a slight fib i like shoes i think some of them are so nice, but i don't like them on my feet. if it was totally acceptable to walk around bare foot i would.. everywhere. so i left the shoes out of this outfit because it really is as basic as that. i actually bought the top from another of my favourite bloggers on the asos marketplace. i fell in love with the colour. the jeans too are such a rich blue i love the way the colours compliment each other. its such a comfy outfit that the shoes just aren't necessary. i'm basically trying to slowly introduce my hippyness to everyone.

high waisted

sometimes you can really over plan an outfit and it be everything you imagined. other times they sort of fall into your lap and just work. and this one is proof. i just happened to put this outfit together. and i loved the way it worked together. i already have raved about the shirt, its always going to have a place in my heart i think. but these trousers are like the little black dress in my opinion. they are safe, they will go with anything and fit perfectly.

Purple Haze

sundays are such a calm day, the thought for many of the lurking monday around the corner does dampen the mood of the day, but i like sundays. you don't do anything and sitting around all afternoon watching films is regarded normal. however i've been watching my little sister compete at a running event. i was the most devoted and proud sister there ... i was asleep throughout most of it. ooops. 

i love the colour purple, especially the colour of the jeans i am wearing in the photos. its pretty...not as pretty however as the shoes, which break up the almost masculine theme i have going on. (the shirt is my brothers). the shoes were a strike of gold, i was returning some other shoes i had previously bought and i caught sight of the sparkle on the heel. i am not a 'sparkly' kind of girl but sometimes when things look as pretty as this, you just have to take them. 

i am now going to go and watch a film and drink green tea
